The Android App Begins

Since I built The Daily Smark for iPhone people have asked me for an Android version. It's always been tough for me as a solo developer to build two apps or rebuild everything from the ground up in some other format. That's all changed becuase for the past few weeks, I have been quietly heads down building this wrestling app for Android devices. It's been tough but I'm starting to see real results!

As you can see in the above screenshot I have The Daily Smark loading on an Android simulator next to an iPhone simulator. It's not the nicest looking app but just seeing it running is a huge step forward. This means i can finally start testing, fixing and making this app looks as amazing as possible.

My goal here is to take the same great wrestling app experience iPhone fans have been using and build it properly for Android users. I want to make sure when users download this app that it looks and feels like it belongs in the Android ecosystem. Wrestling fans on Android deserve nothing less.
